Here in Indiana, flooding continues to be a problem along the Ohio River, with major flooding going on in southern Indiana. A foot of rain has fallen in parts of southern Indiana since last week. No wonder the flooding is so bad!
The weather is FINALLY calming down, starting today. We will see sun early, then cloudy and windy, with spotty showers. Highs will hit the upper 50s.
Skies clear tonight, with chilly temps in the upper 30s-low 40s. Isolated frost is possible.
The sun will shine tomorrow, with a warm-up! :) Highs will hit the mid-upper 60s tomorrow.
Saturday looks awesome! We will enjoy sunny skies, and warm temperatures in the mid 70s Saturday. Get outside Saturday!
The second half of the weekend will be wetter, but not a complete washout. Highs Sunday will hit the upper 60s.
Next week: After showers Monday, things will dry out with sunshine for our baseball in education day Tuesday, with highs in the mow-mid 60s. We will warm near 70 by the middle of next week. More showers and below normal temps are possible later week. The overall pattern for May looks to be active, with near to slightly below normal temps.
Before I go, check out the this shot of a tornado is Tuscaloosa, AL yesterday:
