Good morning! We are coming off a gorgeous Monday that produced lots of sunshine, and highs that hit the lower 80s. Today we can expect more of the same. Major ups and downs in the pattern expected over the next 6-10 days.
Lots of sunshine will be the rule again today, with highs in near 80!
More clouds will move in Wednesday, but we should see another nice day, with highs in the 70s.
Rain chances return Wednesday night-Thursday. Rain totals could be anwhere between .50-.75 by Thursday evening.
Along with the rain comes cooler temperatures. Highs on Thursday and Friday will get knocked back down in the 60s, but certainly nothing too cool.
The weekend looks absolutely gorgeous, again! Highs will return in the 70s with sunny skies expected.
Next week looks interesting! The models are all arguing what the weather will be like next week! Some models show a ridge with highs in the 70s, and some show a cold front coming down, bringing the coldest air of the season. If you see different local channels predicting different forecasts for next week, that is why. What to do... what to do... right now, I am going to lean on the GFS, which shows the coldest air of the season, as I think this model may be up to something. Here is the look at the model for early next week:
That is an almost wintry looking storm system! After that move out Tuesday night, that woul bring down the coldest air of the season. We would have highs in the lower 50s for several days, and lows in the bitter upper 20s! Brrrrrrrrrr!!! But again.. that forecast may get completely switched around by tomorrow, so don't get too caught up on the cold thought just yet.
I will "try" to have another update later today, seeing if the models get a better idea on next week's forecast. Have a great Tuesday!
