Rain moving in... then the MAJOR warm-up!
Good afternoon! I don't have any maps for this update so I will use the old school text way. The weather this evening will be chilly with showers moving in later this evening, probably well after the evening commute. A chilly, showery day is in the forecast for Tuesday with temps in the 40s statewide, to near 50 in extreme southern Indiana. Rainfall totals should average around a half inch or so in Indy, with .25 or less north and .75-1" near Bedford. After that, it is all about the major warm-up! Sunshine will build Wednesday with a great afternoon expected. Temps on Wednesday will warm into the upper 50s in Indy, mid 50s into northern Indiana, and near 60 south. Thursday is when the weather will be truly amazing! Based on latest trends, we should see lots of sunshine and highs in the low 70s here in Indy, near 70 north, and mid 70s in southern Indiana. It will be windy as well. That is an awesome forecast that so happens to be the parade day! :) I will have an update at 8 tonight on the rain moving in. So check back, and have a good evening!
