Good morning! There was some crazy accumulating snow that fell across southern Indiana and north-central Kentucky. A widespread 1-3" fell in that area last night. The snow and clouds have moved out, so today should be a bright day outside! Snow will melt off very quickly and will be all melted by later today. Highs will hit the upper 30s in northern Indiana, near 40 central, and mid 40s south. Tonight, there may be another round of snow for extreme southern Indiana and Kentucky. Here is the detailed for the rest of our spring break:
-Monday should be a decent day with sunshine, and highs in the mid 40s central, low 40s north, and upper 40s in southern Indiana.
-Clouds will increase on Tuesday with showers by evening. Highs will hit the upper 40s central, mid 40s north, and near 50 south.
-A wintry mix is possible Wednesday morning, with highs on Wednesday only in the low 40s.
-Thursday and Friday will be mainly dry with mid 40s Thursday, and near 50 Friday.
Our spring break won't really have any spring feel to it! Remember last year? We had highs in the 80s for the second half of our break! Not this year! :( We should see an abrupt warming trend next weekend, and we are in a pattern where we should warm back up quickly after the first week of April. The weather pattern will probably be a very active one as we head into the middle and end of the month. Here is the GFS 348 hours out:
Have a great Sunday!
