Good evening! Thanks for checking the blog on this hot afternoon! Currently 88 in Indy, mid 80s north, and near 90 south. Temps will fall around 70-72 degrees by tomorrow morning.
Memorial Day may feature record heat as highs soar in the low-mid 90s, with heat indices in the upper 90s. This is dangerous heat, but a breeze will continue to make it feel better. Plan a day at the pool tomorrow! :)
Here is the story of our weather pattern:
Tuesday will be another hot humid day, with highs in the 90s.
Tuesday evening the ridge will try to break down, with a cool front trying to work into the area. Wednesday and Thursday will feature mostly sunny skies, with very slight chances for showers. Highs will still be in the mid 80s.
The ridge builds back for Friday through next weekend, resulting in sunny skies and highs near 90. The good news is many areas won't see a drop of rain this week! This is the best forecast we have had around here in a long time! :)
Since the weather pattern isn't busy for once, I will not be updating everyday. Have a great rest of the holiday weekend, and stay cool!
