Nice Weather Continues - Changes By The Weekend!
Looking great out there this afternoon, with sunshine and lower-middle 40's! Heading out this evening? Temps will tumble quickly under clear skies. A couple more great days coming, then big and potential interesting changes for Sunday-Wednesday time frame. Here is the weekend rain timeline from the NAM forecasting model:

Early next week, we may see a wave forming along the frontal zone to our southeast, possibly bringing more rain Monday, then potentially snow for Tuesday. Sound familiar? :) I'm not all that impressed right now. Let's give it another day for the models to start an agreement. This period does need to be watched for some potential accumulating snow in future runs. It does appear very cold air will make a run at us Tuesday-Wednesday, however will it have a big interaction with the system? My concern would be that when it gets very cold, the deep moisture would be gone. I will continue to keep an eye on it though, because you know how quick models can change!
