Good evening! Thanks for checking into Nate's Weather Blog!! This has sure been an ugly way to end a weekend, with all the soggy weather today! After seeing temps in the 50s most of the day, temps are dropping off as a front has moved in. You can see this clearly on the radar images:
The break in the rain will be short-lived. Another wave is going to move in from the southwest after midnight:
Tomorrow will be a wet one, and much colder as well! Highs will only be in the lower 40's. Luckily, it will stay all rain.
Side Note: The GFS/NAM agree on the threat of accumulating snows for the southeastern half of the state on Thursday. Many of the other models disagree on this, and have a weaker low near the gulf coast, with no concern here. I see that most of the weather services including the NWS are forecasting the farther south/weaker low, with no threat here. It will be interesting to see what the models trends are tomorrow. You already know it, I will have a full update on it tomorrow afternoon!
Have a great night everyone!
