First Flakes Could Fly This Evening!
Good afternoon everyone! Thanks for checking in, on the coldest day of the year so far. Temps currently are in the upper 30's-low 40's, so be sure to bundle up when heading outdoors. Along with the chill, scattered *snow flurries* have developed. No accumulation here, but it is always a big deal to see the first snow flakes of the season! A sure sign winter is near! Snow/rain showers will become more numerous as the afternoon progresses. Here is what you need to track these:
I wouldn't be surprised if folks on the Indiana/Michigan border see enough to cover the grass, since some banding is taking place! :)
Temps tonight will dip in the middle 20's for our Friday morning!
A nice warm-up expected as we head throughout the weekend, with mainly dry conditions.
That is all I have for you today, I will have a better update tomorrow! Don't forget to comment and tell me if you are seeing flakes at your house! ;)
