Good afternoon! Thanks for stopping by the blog, on this gloomy afternoon. It is just flat-out chilly, in the upper 40's. The rain has come to an end across southern Indiana, but continues across central parts of the state. If you are heading out this evening, expect on & off showers. Here is what you need to track these showers:
Friday-Sunday: Will be a gorgeous stretch! Nothing but sunshine expected this weekend, with above-normal temps. Enjoy, something tells me this could be the last weekend with weather so nice. Oh yeah, don't forget to turn your clocks one hour back Saturday night!
Changes will once again take place next week. It all begins Monday with a front stalling out in the area. Could see scattered showers, but certainly nothing major.....
That same front will lift north early Tuesday, taking most of the rain with it. This means Tuesday could turn out to be mainly dry, and very unseasonably warm. I will go with highs in the upper 60s for now, but we could go well in the 70s if we would see more sun than expected (which happens a lot)! By Tuesday night, the system will work its way in. With all the warmth expected ahead of the front, severe storms could be a possibility. This also looks to be a soaking rain for us, and several inches of rain could accompany this system. Here is what the models show for next Wednesday:
Long Range Update: We still look on tap to see a MAJOR pattern change to cold sometime mid-month. I will get more detailed on that in the coming days.
Thanks for checking the blog, have a great evening!
