The Ups-Downs Continue - Fun Long Range Forecast!

Good afternoon! As always, thanks for checking the blog! Major changes have blown into town this afternoon. Check out the latest temps, dropping in the 40's, with wind chills dropping in the 30's. Bundle up this evening!! Here is a look at the current temperatures, notice the big temp gradient from southeast to northwest:

Lows overnight tonight should dip into the upper 20s for many, with a frosty start tomorrow.

Flurry tomorrow? A disturbance will come down tomorrow, and this will provide just enough lift for a snow flurry or two tomorrow afternoon. Don't get excited, because you know how threatening a flurry can be! ;) Also highs will only top out in the lower-middle 40's, with winds making it feel like the 30's. Be sure to bring the heavier coats tomorrow! Here is a look at this on the models:

Much better weather returns for Veteran's Day through most of the weekend, with 50's Friday & Saturday, with 60's returning Sunday. The only flaw in the weekend forecast would be a chance of a few showers Sunday. Not all models are on board with this idea, but I will show you the GFS for Sunday afternoon:

A storm system will be affecting our weather early next week, with warmth and 60's ahead of it. Here is a look at this on the models:

Tuesday, November 15:

Long Range
Much colder air will spill in behind the aformentioned system for the second half of next week. Here is a look at this on the models:
Wednesday, November 16

Another interesting thing of note will be another big shot of even colder air just east of us late next week:

Also, I want to note that very cold air just off the pacific northwest. Point is that the pattern will continue to progress towards a wintry one over the next couple weeks.

Have a great evening, take care!
