Pattern Looking Like Fall!

Good morning! Thanks for checking the blog! Turned out to be a decent Monday, didn't it? The bad news is that the low continues to stay put in the area, meaning more rain!

Today will be a cloudy, chilly day, with occasional showers/sprinkles. No all day rains expected. More of the same can be said for Wednesday!

We should see a mix of sun/clouds return Thursday, as highs return to the middle 70s. After that, things really begin to change!

A MAJOR shot of chilly air, (the coldest of the season) is going to invade the eastern half of the U.S. from Friday right through the weekend. This type of cold air can feature a couple days with highs in the upper 50s, especially Friday & Saturday, and lows that could dip near freezing in outline areas! A widespread frost would be possible for a few mornings in a row if everything plays out! Wow, Check out these chilly numbers the GFS is showing for Friday-Sunday:

It is sure to be a cold start to October! The good news is, that we will see just gorgeous sunny skies all weekend long, making for a great weekend outdoors! Our pattern will take a flip-flop (if you will) next week, as a ridge moves in. Next week looks nothing short of FANTASTIC around here, with highs climbing back in the 70s, along with some great sunshine!

Before I go, here is what you can use to track today's showers:

Have a great Tuesday, and check back for more updates! God Bless!
