Saturday Afternoon Weather Forecast

Good afternoon! Thanks for dropping by the blog! It is pretty ugly out there across most of the Hoosier state so far! Temperatures are just plain chilly, only in the upper 50s.

As of noon, a west to east line of rain extended from Evansville to Louisville. Also, more showers near Terre Haute, Lafayette, & Crawfordsville. This pesky rain will continue to move north & east as the day wears on, with more firing up. Here is what you need to track the rain:

Also, watch out for thuderstorms beginning to develop from Terre Haute to Crawfordsville! Also, some breaks are developing in the clouds out towards Illinois. If this clearing moves in, we could see thunderstorm activity increase with the instability. Here is the latest satellite view:

You can see that big hole in the clouds across the southern half of Illinois. This may give the southern half of Indiana some sun for a while this afternoon, but it will cause storms to start firing up.

It won't be a Saturday afternoon washout anywhere in the state, but you will have to dodge rain and thunder from time to time. Rains will be steadier tomorrow.

Have a great afternoon, check back for more weather info! :)
