Pleasant Temperatures Ahead - Outlook Through the End of May!

It was a very nice day across the state, and the cooler and less humid air was definitely a huge relief today! After mid 80's yesterday, (with heat indices as high as 90) highs today only hit the lower 70's! The real heat looks to stay away for awhile, with temperatures actually staying around average for the next several days.

Tomorrow looks to be even cooler than today. Temperatures will start off cool in the lower 50's, only warming into the mid/upper 60's, with more clouds than sun, along with a good breeze. A few sprinkles are possible tomorrow afternoon, but shouldn't be enough to impact any outdoor plans. You may even want a light jacket at times tomorrow. :)

Thursday through Saturday look absolutely gorgeous to say the least. Plenty of sunshine will be the rule, with chilly mornings in the 40's and 50's, with highs mainly in the range of near 70 Thursday, then well in the 70's Friday and Saturday.

A cold front looks to move into the area for Mother's Day, then stall out into next week. This will result in another stormy pattern for a bit, with temperatures slightly below normal during this time-frame. I will fine-tune the Mother's Day forecast as we get closer.
