HOT UNTIL THURSDAY - BIG RELIEF COMING!

Good afternoon! I am updating Indiana's weather from Florida, and it turns out I am enjoying cooler temps here in Florida than in Indiana! Here along the gulf coast, temps right now are in the middle 80's, with a steady wind off the ocean. In Indiana, temps are currently in the middle 90's!

Tomorrow and Thursday look to be 2 more days in the 90's, but relief is in sight! A cold front will work in late Thursday, resulting in isolated to widely scattered showers or storms. But, this looks to be another set-up that won't bring widespread rain. Can't rule out a strong storm or two.

Friday through Sunday look to feature a break from the intense heat, but still above the normal highs. Temperatures during this time should range between 85-90.

Next week should feature a BIG cool-down. A trough is going to develop across the eastern U.S. as the heat gets shoved back to the southwest. In fact, several days with highs not getting out of the 70's appear more possible next week!! Now that is what I call a nice cool-down!

Until then, stay cool and hydrated!
