Cold And Snow Chances!

Good afternoon. Hope everyone has had a great day! Pretty day out there, huh? Drizzle..fog...cold temperatures in the middle 30's. More of the same through the evening. The good news is that sunshine will be in the forecast starting tommorrow.

Tomorrow: After a cloudy start, we should see some afternoon sunshine, with seasonal temperatures in the upper 30's.

Thursday-Friday: Things may get a little interesting during this period. On Thursday night, a clipper will head down across the area. There should be a decent period of snowfall north of I-70, enough to cause a potentially slick commute Friday morning. Not a big system by any means, but here is my "first call" on totals:
Behind this clipper, a shot of arctic air will move in for Friday and Saturday:

BRRR!!!!!! Lows on Saturday morning may dip to 17 in Indy!! The good news is that temps should quickly moderate near 40 for Sunday and early next week, before a big system moves in next Thursday:

IF that run were to verify.. we would be talking significant snows. But my "gut" feeling is that this will be another rain to snow situation. Still interesting though! That is all for now, have a great evening!
