Warmer For The Weekend - More Snow Next Week?

Updated 7:56am Friday........Good morning! TGIF! Currently, we have mostly cloudy skies over the area, with temps around freezing. The good news is that partly sunny skies will rule today, and near average temps in the 40's.

Warmer Weekend: South winds will make our temps soar Saturday in the low-middle 50s statewide with a sun/clouds mix. If you have things to get done outdoors this weekend, do it tomorrow! Rain will become likely late tomorrow night, and into Sunday. Highs Sunday will remain above average, upper 40's to near 50.

Changes Next Week: Models are all over the place on next week's weather! Right now, i think I know what may happen. We should see overrunning precip. Monday, with a wintry mix possible. Temps would stay in the upper 30s. It is Monday night that it could switch to all wet snow, and some accumulation possible. It is also possible that this continues through Tuesday.

I won't be able to pinpoint a trend in the models until sometime this weekend. Just mark you calendars to early next week and stay tuned. I will try to have better details on this by the afternoon. Have a great Friday everyone!
