Snow Chances Are Small, Colder Air Remains The Bigger Story!

Good morning! Happy Friday everyone! Earlier this morning, light snow moved across the northern parts of the state. Some areas up there saw a slushy inch of snow, while little to no snow action in the Indy metro. Flurries will diminish today, as colder filters in! Here is today's forecast:

Lows tonight will be in the 11-16 degree range!! This will be the first "arctic blast" so far this winter season. I'm sure wind chills will be in the single digits! It would be a smart idea to leave your faucets dripping tonight, to keep your pipes from freezing! Here is a map of expected low temperatures across the state:

The good news is that lots of sunshine is on the order for the weekend, with noticeably warmer temps by Sunday. Next week looks unseasonably mild!! We may crack the 50 degree mark by next Thursday, with another rain maker! No snow is in the forecast anytime soon. More updates later today. Have a great day!
