Dangerous Heat Wave Building, Then a BIG cool-down!

Good morning! Hotter weather is heading towards Indiana, & we will begin to feel it starting this afternoon!

Any morning rains will fade, and skies will clear this afternoon. Highs will be getting close to 90! Here is the radar to track any lingering showers:

For now it is all about the heat! Highs tomorrow & Friday will be pushing well in the 90s! Expect heat indices over 100! This will be some very intense heat, just like we saw in late July! Some areas may flirt with 100 degrees!

The changes come for our Labor Day weekend! Saturday will be mainly dry, with storm chances increasing late in the day. It will mark another 90 degree day!

Rain chances really ramp up Saturday evening-overnight-through Sunday. Heavy rain is possible, along with some pretty good rounds of storms. Still too early to tell if anything will be severe. Behind the front late Sunday, it will get MUCH cooler! Mid 80s Sunday, to the middle 70s Monday, as we dry out.
