Warmer & more humid next few days.... Coolest air of the season next week!

Good morning! Indy hit a comfortable 83 degrees yesterday afternoon, with all that sun & low humidity. Our winds are turning in from the south the next few days, so were bringing more heat & humidity back in the forecast.

Today will be another mostly sunny day, with an isolated storm possible this evening. Rain chances continue to look less impressive, so don't count on getting rain! Highs will hit the upper 80s here, mid 80s up north, and 90 or so down in southern Indiana, with heat indices ranging from 88-93 across the state.

Only a 10-20% chance of a shower tonight, with lows in the mid-upper 60s.

Partly sunny skies & muggy conditions tomorrow, with highs back in the upper 80s.

Friday will be mostly sunny & hot, with upper 80s.

Rain chances go up for the weekend! Saturday will be HOT, as highs soar in the lower 90s! Storm chances start Saturday afternoon, and continue through Monday! It will not be as washout of a weekend, but we could see some periods of much needed rain! Temps will be back in the 80s Sunday & Monday. We could be talking over an inch of rain this weekend, which is awesome news, cause we need it!

Coolest air of the season next week!

Next week is no doubt looking like the coolest air of the season. A strong cold front will move in Monday, and we could be talking highs in the 70s Tuesday & Wednesday of next week, with lots of sun. Lows Tuesday & Wednesday morning could dip in the 40s in the outline areas. A little cool for August, that's for sure!!

Check out the departure below normal by the middle of next week:

I'm telling you.. if this was a month or so from now, we'd be talking frost!! Gotta love it after this extremely hot summer we have had!

Thanks for reading, have a great day!!
