Hot, Humid, & Stormy!

Good morning. All you have to do is step outside this morning to realize it is a warm & muggy morning outside! Isolated storms have developed across southern Indiana, but those will move down in Kentucky. Better chances of rain will return the next several days.

Highs today will hit 90 for the 36th day this summer! Heat indices will be even higher. A pop-up storm is possible, but almost everyone will stay dry. Here is the radar to track anything that pops:

It will be muggy overnight, with lows in the upper 60s.

Friday will start dry, but storm chances go up tomorrow afternoon. A wave will move through with showers & storms tomorrow afternoon. I still don't think everyone will see rain, and plenty of dry time still expected. It will be muggy out there, with highs will hit the upper 80s.

Weekend Forecast:

It will be a typical summer-like weekend. Skies both days will be partly sunny, with pop-up storms each afternoon. DON'T CANCEL PLANS, because there will be lots of dry weather this weekend. Highs will be in the upper 80s. A good weekend to go to the pool or hit the lake, just may have to dodge a couple showers each afternoon.

Changes to next week's forecast: If you read my blog yesterday, you probably remember me talking about a major cool-down that I was forecasting for next week. Not gonna happen!! It looks like the main core of cooler air will stay to our northeast, with temps staying well in the 80s for next week.

Thanks for checking out the blog, have a great day!!
