Feeling like September!

Good morning! I hope your enjoying these temps as much as I am, because I am loving it!! Doesn't get much better than this in August! We are really making the switch from the 2nd hottest July ever, to these "cooler than normal" temps. I expect this overall pattern to continue for the next several weeks.

Today will be another wonderful day to get outside! This is some great weather to get any hectic yard work that you may have held off during the heat wave to get done! Highs will be around 80 under sunny skies.

Lows tonight will dip back in the 50s! No air condition needed! :)

More sunny skies tomorrow, with temps in the mid 80s. It is going to be a great Friday!

We're going to shake things up starting Friday night. A pretty potent storm system, (one more typical for late Fall) will slowly move through this weekend. I expect a heavy, widespread round of rainfall after midnight Friday night-early Saturday am. Rain could fall anytime Saturday, but not a complete washout. Rain chances continue Saturday night, then gradually decreasing later Sunday. We could see over an inch of rain, with isolated areas picking up more. Highs on Sunday will only hit the 70s across the entire state! This rain is GREAT news, because we still need rain to make up from our hot and dry July.

We stay around 80 Monday, then gradually heat back in the middle 80s by the middle of next week. Lots of sun will be the rule once we get past Sunday. Here is another look at that very cool weather for Sunday and Monday:

Looking for heat? We could see a quick spike in temps around Thursday of next week, when 90 would be a possibility. Another cold front will cool us back off by next Friday. The "overall" pattern is expected to stay normal to somewhat below normal, with some spikes in temps every now & then.

Thanks for reading, go enjoy today's weather!
