Another Ugly Day!

Good morning! We are waking up with scattered showers, and cold temperatures! We are in the low 40s, along with some rain. It doesn't get any worse than this in May!

This wet pattern is way past being old, it is just plain ugly!! Record flooding coninues in southern Indiana, and this pattern just keeps dumping the rain!

The rain showers this morning will become spotty this afternoon. It will be breezy and cold when it's not raining. Here is the hourly forecast for today:

9am: Cloudy with drizzle. COLD! 44.

11am: Cloudy with pesky sprinkles. 47.

1pm: Cloudy with spotty showers. 48.

3pm: Cloudy with spotty showers. 50.

You can track the rain here:

High pressure will move in tonight, clearing the rain out. There will be some frost tomorrow morning, so cover up the blooming plants!

Wednesday will be much better with the sun back, but still well below normal! Highs will hit the upper 50s.

After a frosty start Thursday, it should be a warmer and nice day! Highs will hit the mid 60s, under partly sunny skies.

A system will dive in Thursday evening, bringing in showers. This should be a fast mover, so flooding shouldn't be a big issue.

After a morning shower Friday, it should be decent Friday afternoon. Highs will hit the mid-upper 60s.

Mother's Day Weekend: Things will FINALLY warm up to the low 70s this weekend! A system will dive in for Saturday, meaning a chance for showers. Things should clear up by Mother's day, with lots of dry time and highs in the 70s Sunday.

There will be a BIG surge of warm, moist air for the first half of next week. Highs will hit the upper 70s, may some low 80s by next Tuesday! :) Isn't it about time?? Monday and Tuesday will be mainly dry, before a low pressure system moves in Wednesday. There could be some strong storms around that time, because when it warms, it storms! There will be another chill shot behind this system for the end of next week. Don't you wish the pattern could STAY warm! It should be by now!

That is all for today, thanks for checking natesweatherblog! Have a great day!
