Some sunshine today, rain returns tomorrow

Good morning! This is our big Matthew 5:16 day!! The weather is certainly pretty good for it!

Rain showers have moved out, as drier air has moved in. This has allowed the clouds to scour out. While I still expect clouds from time to time, it should be a partly sunny day. It will be breezy and chilly day, with highs in the upper 50s-near 60. Here is the weather timeline for today:

9am: Partly sunny, chilly! 47.

11am: Sunny skies, cool. 52.

1pm: Partly sunny. warmer. 56.

3pm: Mostly cloudy. 58.

5pm: Partly sunny. High 60.

Definately better than earlier thought!

Skies will clear tonight, allowing for some very cold temps!! Upper 30s are likely, along with a VERY late season patchy frost potential. And we are just a couple weeks out of June! Crazy! Here is a map to prove the chill:

We will see the upper-level low swing back towards us tomorrow, so rain chances increase late in the day. Highs will only hit the upper 50s.

More of the same for Wednesday, cloudy skies and showers possible. Highs will be in the 60s.

By Thursday and Friday, the pattern will shift pretty rapidly, meaning a big time warm-up for us! Highs will go from those 60s Wednesday, to near 70 Thursday, and mid 70s Friday! Chances of rain will linger Thursday, but we should see sunshine on Friday.

Next weekend and beyond:  A warm an humid pattern will take over by next weekend, with scattered storms possible late Saturday and Sunday. I am not expecting a weekend washout at this time. Highs will be in the upper 70s both days. It looks like 80s return next week, along with scattered storms possible. It's just too early to have much confidence, so I will refine that in the coming days. The park day forecast for next Tuesday looks like scattered storms and low 80s. Again, it's too early to give a confident forecast.

Have a great day!!
