Severe Update: *Latest Tornado Warnings*

***Tornado Warnings***
...A TORNADO WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR NORTHEASTERN
SULLIVAN...SOUTHWESTERN CLAY AND VIGO COUNTIES UNTIL 915 PM EDT...

AT 836 PM EDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A
SEVERE THUNDERSTORM CAPABLE OF PRODUCING A TORNADO.  THIS DANGEROUS
STORM WAS LOCATED 5 MILES SOUTH OF TERRE HAUTE...MOVING SOUTHEAST AT
35 MPH. SPOTTERS ALSO RECENTLY REPORTED A ROTATING WALL CLOUD SOUTH
OF TERRE HAUTE.

IN ADDITION...AT 839 PM  HALF DOLLAR SIZE HAIL WAS REPORTED IN
TERRE HAUTE WITH THIS STORM.

LOCATIONS IMPACTED INCLUDE...
  RILEY...PIMENTO...CORY...FARMERSBURG...HYMERA...CLAY CITY AND
  COALMONT.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

TAKE COVER NOW. MOVE TO AN INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST FLOOR OF A
STURDY BUILDING. AVOID WINDOWS. IF IN A MOBILE HOME...A VEHICLE OR
OUTDOORS...MOVE TO THE CLOSEST SUBSTANTIAL SHELTER AND PROTECT
YOURSELF FROM FLYING DEBRIS.

The map below will show you the latest, updated warnings. This supercell will continue to move south and slightly east. Hail of 1.50 in diameter was reported on the southeast side of Terre Haute. This can cause damage. Not only a tornado threat, but hail as well. This storm has missed Indianapolis, which is great news. Good evening, everyone! The SPC has issued a severe t'storm watch for all of central and northern Indiana. Severe supercells are popping up, thanks to sunshine and instability. Here is a map of the latest watches and warnings:

The pink is the severe storm watch, the reds are tornado warnings, and the orange shades are the severe storm warnings. This severe supercell may hit Crawfordsville, then possibly the north side of the Indianapolis area if it stays severe. That map will update every minute, so you can keep track of the latest warnings.
