LIGHT RAIN MOVING IN - MILD TEMPERATURES!

Good evening! Talk about a change! 51 degrees right now! As expected, light rain is moving in. The rains will really pick up overnight, as out temperatures soar! Some areas will pick up over a half-inch or more of rain. Anytime after midnight, areas south of I-70 could see thunderstorms, as we will be talking temperatures well into the 50's, and the dewpoints in the balmy 55-60 range! That is downright balmy, moist air for the middle of winter! While a severe warning or two can't be ruled out, much of the severe weather will be to our west, where there is a 2% risk of tornadoes tonight.

I will updated if that outlook changes. Believe it or not, temperatures are expected to drop dramatically tomorrow afternoon and evening, with a few snow showers possible. It will remain colder for the second half of the week, with a wintry mix possible Thursday and Friday.

More updates as needed!
