SNOW MOVES OUT - COLD CONTINUES!

Good morning, and happy Friday! What a way for winter to return!! Below zero wind chills, slick roads, blowing snow. You got it, a real mess out there this morning!

Snow Amounts: We didn't get as much snow as I has hoping to see, but overall we were on the lower end of the totals. Around 2.4" in Morgan County, and much of the area is waking up to near 2" of snow. It is hard to measure, as it is blowing around and drifting. Lafayette picked up 5" of snow.

Bitter Cold Today: Highs today will be a struggle just to get out of the teens! Wind chills will remain BRUTAL! I know some kids may even try out their sleds, but please bundle up!

Warmer Weekend? We have one more very cold day on tap tomorrow, with a couple flurries possible. The good news is that we rapidly warm up on Sunday, well into the 30's!

Extended: It appears another system will provide rain for MLK day, as temps soar into the 40's! The rain may switch to snow later Tuesday, as colder air moves in. Colder air for Wednesday/Thursday of next week.

Have a great Friday!
