SNOW AND ICE ON THE WAY?

Good late evening! Just wanted to do a quick update on the systems headed our way.....

-System #1 moves in tomorrow, producing snow, especially north of I-70. Up to 1" could accumulate in Indy. Up to 2" is possible near Kokomo and Muncie. Around a half-inch is possible from Martinsville to Shelbyville.

-System #2 continues to look like a mess for the area. It appears a wintry mix will develop late Friday and Friday night, with ice accumulation and sleet making travel rough for Indy travelers Friday night! Not a big storm, but a glaze of ice will cause things to be very hazardous out there Friday night! Extreme southern Indiana looks to stay all rain, with light accumulating snow across northern Indiana. Here is a map of what you can expect Friday night! Again, conditions will depend on where you are located in the state.

Any slight shifts will play major differences in the forecasting, so it is important to check back. Not a major storm, but this certainly could cause problems for people headed out later Friday or early Saturday.

More updates tomorrow. Have a great night! :)
