70s for the next couple days, low 80s for southern Indiana? Also looking ahead to the spring break weather outlook!

Good morning! It is a warm start out this morning! We have a few showers in eastern Illinois this morning. The showers today should be rather spotty, but you can track the rain and warm temperatures here:
Indiana Temperature Map

Tuesday: It looks like tomorrow should be a mainly dry day with partly sunny skies. Temperatures will be VERY warm! Mid 70s are likely for central Indiana, upper 70s-low 80s for southern Indiana, and low 70s far north. Get out the shorts tomorrow! :)

Wednesday: This is when a cold front will near the area. Some scattered showers and storms are likely. Highs should hit 70 in most places.

Thursday-Sunday: This period looks cold with some chances of rain coming up late Saturday and Sunday. Highs on Thursday and Friday will be in the 40s. Temperatures on Saturday will depend on when the next system arrives, but staying chilly. Rain is expected on Sunday, with highs in the 40s. :(

SPRING BREAK OUTLOOK: It may be a chilly spring break. Here are some models:

This is not a good sign at all for warm weather lovers! I know some people like to start their gardens on their spring break. With freezing overnight temperatures, you may want to rethink it! I am really sorry for the depressing spring break forecast. It may not feel like spring! :(

Have a good Monday and check back for updates later today!
