Nice weather before things get crazy!

Good morning. What an awesome weather day it was yesterday! Today will be another clear, sunny day with a cool front sliding through this morning. This may keep temps down a little, but should still hit the mid 40s in Indy, low 40s north, and upper 40s near 50 in the south. Tonight will get really cold with lows in the low-mid 20s. Temps will warm rapidly tomorrow with partly/mostly sunny skies and highs near 50 central, upper 40s north, and mid 50s south. Light rain will return Thursday and Friday. I think there will be quite a bit of dry weather on Friday with highs in the mid-upper 50s! Heavy rain will fall Friday night through Saturday evening. By Saturday evening. 1-3" of rain is likely. I wouldn't be surprised if there are isolated 4" amounts near Lafayette. This will cause LOTS of flooding with the already high river levels. Sunday through Tuesday of next week will be dry with low 40s Sunday and Monday with upper 40s by next Tuesday. Have an awesome day, and thanks for looking at Nate's weather blog!
