Dry for now-more soaking rains in the forecast!

Good morning! I hope everyone had a good weekend! The main problem over the past two days have been all the significant flooding! When we came home from French Lick yesterday, I was surprised just how high the white river was near Martinsville! Today will be mostly cloudy with highs in the mid 40s in the central and north with upper 40s near 50 in southern Indiana. Tuesday will be a nice, mild day with mid 50s central, low 50s north, and upper 50s south. A few stray showers are possible by late afternoon/evening. Heavy, soaking rain will fall Tuesday night through Wednesday. Highs should hit the mid 50s in most of the state. 1-2" of rain is possible by Wednesday evening. A brief cool-down on Thursday, then Friday looks like a sunny, really nice day with highs near 50. Next weekend is looking pretty good. There could be a few showers from time to time Saturday, but should be really light and not a washout. Sunday will be partly sunny with highs in the upper 40s. Have a great Monday, and thanks for looking at Nate's weather blog.
