Get outside today!!!

Good St. Patrick's Day everyone and thanks for looking at the blog. It will be a WONDERFUL day outside and by far the warmest of the year! With lots of sunshine, temperatures should top out in the low 70s in Indy, mid 70s in southern Indiana, and upper 60s-near70 in northern Indiana! At parade time, temperatures will be around 60. Clouds will increase tonight and temperatures tonight will stay warmer than the average high! Temperatures tonight will only drop the the mid 50s!

Friday- A cold front will slide in from the north, and will spark a few showers or a thundershower. No washout of a day expected, and temperatures will hit the mid-upper 60s.

THE WEEKEND- This weekend will stay mainly mild with a few showers by Sunday. Saturday will be a nice day with partly sunny skies and highs in the upper 50s to near 60. Temperatures on Sunday will be the same with more clouds and the threat a a few rain showers.

Next week- The week will start very mild with the threat of rain showers. Monday should be pretty nice with peeks of sun and an isolated shower possible. The next big threat of rain comes next Tuesday as a cold front comes in. Temperatures will hit the upper 60s both days. On Wednesday, we will see temperatures begin to drop of as a few showers linger. Very sadly, by next Thursday, we will see a good shot of cold air coming south. Here is the map to prove it:

Temperatures by next Thursday will only hit the mid 40s if we are lucky. We will also have several cold mornings as well! Notice the high pressure and the warmer temperatures in the plains, that should arrive by our spring break.
Let's not worry about the cool-down next week and just stay focused on the warm, spring-like temperatures over the next several days. Have a great St. Patrick's Day everyone!! :)
