Feeling Like Winter - Tracking Snow Showers

Good Wednesday afternoon, everyone! Hope your day is going good. It was a day that started with a little something that we have been lacking of.... SNOW! However, this did NOT put a dent in the snow drought. Many areas picked up 1/4"-1/2", depending on location. Officially .2 at the airport. Now we are seeing the chilly temps remaining! Here is a look at the current temperatures across the state:

indiana current temperature map

Also, tracking a band of *light* snow showers southwest of Indianapolis. This is NOT big deal. Areas from Martinsville to Bloomington will be impacted by this band. Roads will stay wet, perhaps a light dusting on elevated surfaces.

Outside of this band, a few flurries may fly across the state through mid-evening.

Before I go, here are some weather highlights I am tracking:

-Arctic blast still set to arrive Friday night. Snow showers are possible Friday night, but generally 1/2" or under expected.

-The weekend looks COLD! Lows this weekend may be in the lower teens, with highs mainly in the 20's, for afternoon highs.

-Things look very active next week.
