Snow On The Way - Latest Totals!

Good afternoon! Hope everyone is having a good day so far. I am still tracking snow to our west, which will arrive later this evening. A winter weather advisory is in effect for southern Indana, where slightly higher totals are possible. The latest radar indicates snow breaking out to our west, which should arrive in Indy metro by 8pm or so.

The snow will be light, but steady overnight, and slick roads are possible! Travels after 8-9pm this evening will be impacted with snow and some slick spots on roadways. Unfortunately, the snow looks to continue through the morning commute, so allow yourself some extra time in the morning. How much snow? It looks like a general 1 to possibly 2", but latest trends have lowered the totals to 1" or so. I still like the idea of a band of 2"+  across southern and western Indiana. Indiana. So the morning commute won't be impossible, just be prepared for some slick spots.

Don't forget about the radars and weather cams tab at the top of the page. Have a great rest of your day.
