Warm and Muggy Weekend!

Good Friday morning! I hope everybody is having a great morning. We are waking up to rain in parts of the state. You can track it on the radar at the top. Temps this morning range from the 60s in southern Indiana, to the 40s in northern Indiana. Highs will near 70 in Indy, 75 in Bloomington, and 62 in Muncie. We could see scattered showers at any time today. There is also a risk for severe storms over southern Indiana. Here is the SPC map for today, and an enhanced radar for southern Indiana:

If any warnings come out, I will update! Looking at the weekend forecast, we have some AWESOME weather! On Saturday, a warm front will lift north, meaning some warm temperatures! Highs will hit 77 in Indy, 80 in Bloomington, and 74 in Muncie. Isolated to scattered showers/storms are possible, with the best chance over southern Indiana. A few could be severe. There will be LOTS of dry hours tomorrow as well. Sunday will be the best day with highs pushing the mid 80s! Skies will be partly sunny, and it will be windy! It will be muggy as well, so it will definately feel like a late June day! Make plans to get outside this weekend, especially Sunday!

-There may be a round of severe weather Sunday night, but confidence is too low at the time to get hyped about it. We will cool down from the 80s Sunday, to the upper 60s early next week. It will still feel like spring! I will have another update later this evening, and finalize the weekend forecast. Have a great Friday!
