Nice today, rain and storms tomorrow?

Good morning. We are looking at sunshine this morning, and it will continue all day. Indy hit 67 yesterday, and I think Indy will make it to 70 today, with a mix of clouds and sun.

-There is a risk for severe storms tomorrow afternoon, mainly for southwest Indiana. Here is the SPC map:

Along with a severe threat, HEAVY rain is likely Friday night, with widespread 1-2" amounts by Saturday. As the upper low swings through Saturday morning, I wouldn't be surprised if we have some thunder. Saturday will be a chilly, windy, damp day. Highs will remain steady in the low 50s. Not the best weather for the Thunder over Louisville this weekend!

-Sunshine and warmer air returns Sunday, as highs near 60.

-Next week has the real possibility of dumping lots of heavy rainfall in the Ohio Valley. Severe storms are possible as well. Stay tuned! Temperatures will be in the 60s and low 70s.

-The pattern looks VERY active over the next few weeks. It looks like we could be in a type of pattern for lots of flooding, along with severe storms. This pattern will likely continue through at least early May. Our lawn mowers will be getting a work out over the coming weeks. Not a good thing with all those high gas prices! Have a great Thursday, thanks for checking the blog!
