Weekend Forecast, And Next Week's Severe Potential!

Good afternoon! I hope everyone has had a good spring break! The weather has been awful! The good news is that temperatures are going to really warm up starting this weekend! This will be a rather long update, as I will detail all the weather coming up over the next several days.

We are dealing with scattered showers right now, and you can track it here:

Saturday is looking to be a great weather day for Indiana. Highs will range from 50 north to 60 south. Our temperatures on Sunday will likely rise into the 60s! However, a few showers are possible with a warm front lifting north. Check out the warm air that will get whipped northward from now through Sunday:

Check out the 80s getting into southwest Tennessee Sunday afternoon! Rain showers will be possible Sunday night, with severe storms possible Monday. This is likely to be the biggest severe outbreak so far this year! Here are the HPC and SPC maps:

I will stay right on top of this, and will have many updates all weekend long. Anyway, a brief cool down is expected behind the front Tuesday, and some very mild temps for the middle-end of next week. 70s? They look very likely! Have a good evening, and thanks for looking at Nate's weather blog!
