Near record heat today, storms toward morning?

Good evening! I hope everyone got out and enjoyed today's summer-time in spring! Indy hit 83 today, 1 short of the record! The 90 degree heat made it the Louisville this afternoon, the earliest 90 ever for them, I think. That is VERY rare for early-mid April. The average highs for Indy right now are low 60s. Here is the breakdown of when the storms arrive:

*Storms possible in northwest Indiana after 3am

*Severe risk northwest of Indy

*Any part of central Indiana could still see severe storms

*Storms hit Indy between 4am-9am

*Temps fall in the upper 50s tomorrow afternoon as rain lingers

We have been really lucky so far this year, that these storms have hit us at night, and early morning, when instability is low. Let's hope that trend continues. I will update tomorrow morning on the forecast for this week, and when another severe threat arrives, good night!
