Severe Update: *Tornado Watch Issued*

***3:45 UPDATE Tornado Watch***

The NWS has issued a tornado watch for all counties along and north of I-70. This includes Indy metro. Breaks in the clouds have developed, destabilizing the atmosphere. Any thunderstorm can quickly become severe and tornadic. Stay here, as I will update if anything goes severe. You can track the pop-up storms on the post below:

Previous Update:

GM everyone! What a crazy past few days it has been for the Ohio and Mississippi Valleys!! Day after day tornados, hail, flooding, this will be an April to remember for so much of the U.S.

The rain we were expecting last night ripped apart as it moved into Indiana. Not complaining!!

There will be a m3ix of clouds and sun today, with gusty winds. A few iso-sct. pop-up storms are possible later today. Any could be severe. Temps will be warm for many, with mid-upper 70s. An 80 is possible in the south.

Here is the SPC map, another busy day for the mid-south:

Latest Day 1 convective outlook

Heavy rains will get going again later tonight and tomorrow, with 1-4" likely.

A break comes Thursday and Friday, with 50s Thursday, and upper 60s Friday.

The weekend won't be a washout, but more rain is expected from late Saturday-Sunday. Highs should be near 70.

Before I go, here are radars to track any storms out there today:

Have a great day, I will try to update if anything turns severe.
