Major Flooding Will Continue in Southern Indiana

Good evening! It has been a crazy day of heavy rain here in southern Indiana. Many areas have already seen 4" of rain, and flash flooding over the roads. We ran into water flowing over the roads heading to Jasper this evening, so BE CAREFUL!! Up north, you guys are saying what flooding? The weather turned out to be pretty nice along and north of Indy, with sunshine today in northern Indiana. Let's talk about the weather for Easter:

- Not much change from today, HEAVY rain nearly non-stop in southern Indiana, with including today's rain, 3-6" or more is likely. Not sure if we will be able to get back home tomorrow!!

-The rain continues just about all week, with heavy rains shifting into central Indiana. As far as totals, here is the HPC rainfall map for the next 5 days:

WOW!! If southern Indiana really sees 10" of rain over the next 5 days, that is going to be the worst flooding in many, many years!! Sad thing is, I think this map is pretty accurate. Even in central Indiana, significant rain amounts are likely over the next several days, with flooding possible for central Indiana as well. Before I go, here are radars to track the flooding rain in the southern half of Indiana:

Rainfall today:

Have a great evening, God Bless!
