Sunday Forecast, and next week's weather

Good evening! What a beautiful day it has been! The sunshine and warmer temps were needed despite the strong breeze. Looking at the extended, I think our TRUE spring has finally arrived. Yes, I said TRUE spring! :)

Sunday will be pretty nice as a warm front moves into northern Indiana. A few showers are possible in central and northern Indiana, but otherwise partly sunny and warm! Highs will hit the upper 60s north, near 70 central, and mid 70s to near 80 in Evansville. Yes, I said 80 possibly in Evansville! Temps will be truly summer-like for southern Indiana as the warm front lifts north tomorrow. The winds, however will be howling! I would not be surprised if parts of southwest Indiana see 50 mph gusts! It may make driving difficult tomorrow afternoon. This is all due to a tight pressure gradient in the warm sector of the storm system.

Monday is the big day as we have a severe potential. I am beginning to think the worst of this will stay in southern Indiana, and especially Kentucky. That is because the cold front may move through faster than earlier thought. Heavy rain is also a possibility. Here is the NAM:

Tuesday's weather is looking better, with some afternoon sunshine. Highs will top out near 50. On Wednesday and Thursday, temperatures will be well in the 60s. Showers and storms are likely Thursday afternoon and night. Another storm system is likely to hit Indiana by next Saturday with very warm temperatures! Highs Friday and Saturday will be in the 70s.

The weather this week will likely start shooting up the grass! Some yards in southern Indiana have already been mowed. Yards in central Indiana will likely be needing the first cut by next weekend! Just my thinking!

Have a good evening, I will update tomorrow!
