Hot and Humid to end the weekend!

Good evening! Sorry I haven't had any updates today. I tried the update my facebook with the warnings. I will be totally honest... I did not expect a complex of storms as large and severe as we saw this morning. Some areas saw up to 1" of rain in less than an hour! But we still had lots of dry weather today, as skies became sunny this afternoon. Now here is the forecast for tonight and beyond:

Skies will stay clear tonight, and temperatures will stay warm. Lows will slowly bottom out in the low 60s. Patchy fog is possible after midnight.

The Sunday Sizzler: The sun will be shining, and the temperatures will be soaring! It will become breezy as well. Highs will hit the low-mid 80s central and north, and upper 80s south. I would not be surprised if Evansville hit 90! These temps are average for the middle of summer! Indy will likely make a new record high for tomorrow's date. The humidity will also be high, so it may feel warmer than it really is, or you might have a bad hair day! Here is the dewpoint map: (65 or higher is considered uncomfortable)

Next week: Severe storms are still possible tomorrow night-Monday am. Heavy rainfall will cause flooding to the already saturated ground. Highs on Monday will be in the 60s. On Tuesday, we will see lots of sunshine. Highs will top out in the upper 50s and low 60s. More sunshine for Wednesday, as highs warm back to 70. Another system moves in for Thursday-Friday, meaning more heavy rain and storms possible. The temperatures may come down in the upper 50s-low 60s by next weekend, with unsettled weather possible. The pattern looks to be very active over the next few weeks. Here is a 2-week rainfall map:

That is a good amount of rain for a two week period! That is all for tonight, I will update at some point tomorrow. Have a good night!
