Severe storms tomorrow evening!

Good evening, and thanks for checking back. We have one BIG temp differece in Indiana this evening. It is 38 in Gary, and 65 in Indy! Snow was falling in northern Indiana this morning! It is like two totally different climates in a span of 40 miles. CRAZY!

                  Here is the weather discussion:

Rain is filling in across the Indiana and Illinois border, and heavy rain is likely overnight. I am worried about some training, rain over the same areas over and over, so there may be flooding.

Tuesday won't be a washout, but it could rain at any time. The big story is the severe outbreak expected in the Ohio Valley, with tornadic supercells very possible tomorrow evening. I will say anytime ater 3pm, look out!!!This is a dangerous situation. This looks to come in two waves, scattered severe storms tomorrow afternoon and evening, with a dangerous squall line Tuesday night.

FAMILY SEVERE WEATHER PLAN/PREPARATIONS: Be sure to have your family severe weather plan! Also, be sure your NOAA radio works, or if you don't have one, almost all electronic stores have them. Remember it always works when the power goes out, and has a flashlight with it.  Always be sure your cell phone is charged as well! Make sure you have working flashlights in your home.

Let's pray it doesn't get as bad as expected, because this is a bit scary, but weather lovers & storm chasers love it! I will have a full update tomorrow morning, and will have detailed discussion on TIMING of the storms. Good night, and God Bless!
